Samiron Ghoshal joined as a Senior Partner for Technology business in TRANSEARCH India.
He has been a Technology & Consulting industry veteran with over 30 years of global leadership experience. Prior to Transearch, he has been in multiple leadership roles like Managing Partner for IBM South Asia, Partner & member of Global Emerging Markets leadership in Ernst & Young, Vice President for Wipro and other leadership roles in SAP, Rockwell Automation & Tata Steel. He moved into executive search 3 years back as a global partner Tech/Prof Services for Amrop, where he successfully delivered over 50 mandates globally.
Co-located presently in UK & India, Samiron has extensive experience & contacts in the Tech/Digital & Consulting industry. Other than helping clients, Samiron is a professional artist with 7 exhibitions globally.
Shobha is a Principal with Transearch India and is based in Bangalore.
Over the last 6 years, Shobha has provided leadership talent acquisition and advisory to companies which are at different growth juncture in the consumer internet and digital space. She has been instrumental in closing leadership roles across functions such as Engineering, Product management, Data Sciences, Category management , Sales, Human resources , Finance etc in India, Americas and South East Asian region. Her prior experience for close to a decade was with Honeywell. In her last role as Regional Treasury, she was responsible for managing treasury functions for all entities in India, Pacific and few SEA countries. Her earlier experience was in finance back office operations.
Shobha studied at IIM, Bangalore for Executive General Management Program. She holds an Master degree in Sociology from Karnataka University and a three year Diploma in Architecture from Karnataka State Technical Board.
Shilpa Swamy is a Principal Consultant in Transearch’s Bangalore office.
Shilpa has 16+ years of experience in talent acquisition and executive search, having successfully partnered with multiple organizations to hire MDs/CEOs, Presidents, CXOs, and other executives in India, South East Asia, China, and the Middle East.
She has extensive experience of talent acquisition across Industrial, Manufacturing, Automotive & Data Analytics sectors. Shilpa started her career at Transearch in research and over the next 12 years grew to an Associate Principal role and has successfully closed multiple business and functional mandates in the Industrial, Manufacturing & Automotive industries during this stint.
She moved to a boutique consulting company called Rinalytics as an AVP & Business Head with P&L responsibility for the selection business. In her last role, Shilpa worked with the Strides Group from 2019 -2022 where she was responsible for leadership hiring across 9 group companies and the account manager for Strides Consumer, Steriscience, Naari Pharma, Tenshi, etc responsible for end to end talent acquisition. She helped design and implement leadership hiring strategies in India, UK, US, Africa, etc.
She has a PGDBM (HR) from Wigan and Leigh (UK) and BE (Computer Science) from Bangalore University.
Radhika Vivek is a Senior Partner in the Consumer Practice as well as for the Outsourcing & BPO Practice of TRANSEARCH India. She is based in Mumbai.
Radhika has over 20 years of experience, over 17 years of which have been in executive search. She has worked across Consumer, Retail, IT, ITES and Financial Services sectors and has successfully closed senior mandates in the Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, IT and HR functions besides several CXO hires. During her stint with Randstad Executive Search, Radhika successfully built and grew a global Consumer Practice and gained significant expertise in cross border assignments, working with clients across South and South East Asia, the Middle East and the UK. Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, she was Executive Director and Head of the Mumbai office at Sheffield Haworth India.
Radhika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lady Shriram College, Delhi University, and a Masters in Business Economics, also from Delhi University. She has completed a program in HR, Strategy and Change Management from IIM Bangalore. Radhika is also a certified Executive Coach.
Meenakshi Thakar is a Partner with TRANSEARCH India in the Analytics and Hospitality practice and also a member of the Professional Services practice. She is based out of Bangalore.
Meenakshi brings in nearly two decades of extensive Executive Search experience in leadership hiring. With TRANSARCH India, she has successfully partnered with MNC and large Indian groups in the Analytics & Big Data , Professional Services and Hospitality practice for hiring at C-Suite and strategic levels so as to help them meet their business objectives. Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, she had a successful entrepreneurial venture in executive search and also worked at BTI Consultants for senior executive searches across all functional areas and sectors. In the initial stage of her career, she was part of the market research division of Mudra Communications.
Meenakshi holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from RA Podar Institute of Management and a Post Graduate in Economics.
Poulomee Ghosh is a Senior Partner with TRANSEARCH and leads the Social Impact, CSR and Education practice. She brings with her 20 years of profound experience across executive search, research and management. She is based out of New Delhi.
She was a founding member of India’s first cause connected executive search firm for the social impact sector- Third Sector Partners. Having been with the firm for 13 years, she was instrumental in advising and leading important C-Suit mandates and client engagements across diverse domains within the sector. Before moving to TRANSEARCH, she was heading Third Sector Partners in India and was responsible for its overall growth and expansion into newer domains like Environment, Skills Development, SVF and Social Enterprise along with strengthening the existing expertise that the firm had.
Prior to her career in executive search, she was an environmental Research Scientist working across innovative projects in air and water pollution with Vasundhara Foundation along with an interesting stint as the Head of a state-of-the-art cultural centre founded by a renowned Indian artist.
Poulomee holds a Post-Graduate degree in Environment Management from IISWBM- India’s first B-school and is a merit holder in Masters in Environment Science from Vidyasagar University. Passionate about the environment and the arts, she believes that her strong research and analytics background help her approach situations in a logical and systematic manner.
Ashish is a Senior Partner with Transearch India and is based in Bangalore
For over a decade, he has been a trusted advisor for start-ups/entrepreneurs on talent acquisition and worked with PE & VC’s to build the leadership team of their portfolio companies. He has partnered numerous unicorn in their journey of professionalization. Over the years he has placed 300+ senior executives into organizations that filled critical competency or leadership gaps.
Prior to joining Transearch he was the Partner and founding team member with a boutique Indian search firm and worked across business sectors. Ashish has played key role in building the Digital & Technology practice for them. Prior to joining Executive Search Industry in 2004, Ashish held several roles in sales, business development and operations.

Uday Chawla is the Managing Partner of TRANSEARCH India Office.
He helps his clients build high performing leadership teams. He has been involved in conduct of general management searches for large Indian business houses as well as multinational corporations. Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, Uday was the Senior Partner and the Managing Partner of Heidrick & Struggles for 6 years. He was the founding member of the team that launched H&S brand in India in 1998 and he led the India office during his tenure. Uday is a member of the Global Executive Committee of TRANSEARCH International.
Uday has completed his Masters in Business Economics from Delhi University.
Atul Vohra is the Managing Partner of TRANSEARCH India Office.
He utilizes his senior level executive search and management consulting (change management) experience to help build leadership teams for organizations in a broad range of industries. During 2003-08, Nitin was with MasterCard Worldwide as their CEO and Country Manager for South Asia. Earlier, Nitin was the President of Rediff.com, one of Asia’s most successful Internet companies, where he helped lead the company to its successful listing on the NASDAQ. In 1997-2000, Nitin was President of GE Capital India’s retail financing business, and before that worked across marketing and advertising (Unilever, American Express, J. Walter Thompson).

Anjali was a senior banker with ANZ Grindlays Bank before moving to CRISIL (company of Standard and Poor’s) where she worked for over 16 years in leadership roles in credit rating, research and information, capital markets, mutual funds and corporate advisory, and strategic branding. She set up TRANSEARCH’s Mumbai office in 2006, and has built a significant financial services practice for the firm, with deep client relationships in India’s Commercial Banking, Capital Markets and the broader financial sector.
Anjali has completed her Bachelor’s in Commerce from Mumbai University, and has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island, USA.
Sangeeta Sant Lal is a Senior Partner in Transearch’s New Delhi office. She leads the Automotive Practice and co-leads the firm’s Industrial Practice. Sangeeta brings a wealth of experience to the firm, possessing over 30 years of experience working with multinational companies, a start – up, including setting up a successful entrepreneurial venture.
In the last 13 years at Transearch, she has worked with MNC’s and diversified large Indian conglomerates to support them on talent management challenges. She has advised clients across a broad range of industries including Automotive, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defence, Metals and Mining and Logistics. She has been recognized by the firm globally for her excellence in Client satisfaction and Practice Development.
Prior to joining Transearch, Sangeeta was a Client Partner with Korn/Ferry and spent 7 years in their Industrial practice working on key mandates in the Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Infrastructure, Metal Mining, Automotive, Manufacturing, Transportation sectors.
In her previous role she was based in Mumbai as a vice president at Quadrangle (Naukri.com – India’s no 1 jobsite), where she headed the recruitment and search practice for the western region. Before that, she founded a human resources consulting firm in India and subsequently moved to Dubai to set up the company’s first overseas office. During her time in the Middle East, she handled numerous executive search assignments across different industries, functions in the industrial, financial services, consumer and oil & gas sectors.
Sangeeta is an MBA in Human resources from XLRI (Xavier School of Management), a top 5 business school in India and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Stella Maris College, Chennai.
Rahul brings with him over 2 decades of experience in leading senior leadership searches for clients. Since joining Transearch International in 2008, he has worked closely with building the firms business and brand in India as its institutional member.
His clients include large Indian and Multinational corporations in the consumer and industrial markets. He has been a trusted partner to his clients, helping them hire CEOs, Board Directors and CXO suite roles including transformational roles in Digital and Sustainability. In an increasingly globalized world, one of his core areas of specialization has been in sourcing global talent to meet leadership talent needs for his clients. His clients have commended him on his deep insight into their business, close collaboration in execution and tenacity to deliver on complex mandates.
Prior to joining Transearch, Rahul worked with Korn/Ferry’s industrial practice. In his earlier role he worked the Ma Foi Group and helped them set up their business in Singapore, where he supported clients in the IT and Oil & Gas sectors.
Rahul is a Chemical Engineer and holds a master’s degree in Business Management.
Balchandra (Bala) Variar is a Senior Partner based at the Mumbai office of TRANSEARCH and co leads the Consumer practice apart from leading initiatives in the Real Estate, Insurance and Infrastructure sectors.
Bala has experience of a decade and half in advising several clients across Succession planning, Executive assessment and Leadership hiring. Over the last decade, he has been instrumental in several CXO hires for clients in diverse industries including Manufacturing, Consumer product and services, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Aviation. Bala has partnered Multinational and Indian organizations and consulted on several engagements ranging from start-up hiring to fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Transearch, Bala spent a decade with another international consulting firm, Heidrick & Struggles’ and in his last role, co-led the Industrial sector. During this stint, Bala is credited with setting up their Real Estate & Infrastructure practices in India.
Bala graduated from Mumbai University and has attended a two year full time MBA (PGDM) program from Mumbai.
Gulpreet is a Partner and a member of the Healthcare & Lifesciences practice. She has around 19 years of experience in leadership hiring and her areas of expertise include Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Lifesciences, and Diagnostics.
Gulpreet is a founding member of the Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare practice. She has built it from a scratch and today Transearch is well positioned as a leader in Pharmaceuticals Healthcare hiring space. She started her career in research and moved up to Head of Research role. In the present role as a Partner, she manages key relationships and advises clients on issues related to talent and leadership hiring.
